Who
we are

The Dundee Golf Club was designed by Don and D.J. Hesler and opened in the summer of 1964. It was purchased by my parents, Eugene and Eileen Flynn in 1965. Upon my dad’s passing in 1971, my mother continued to run the golf course and raise six children between the ages of 9 and 15, with myself being the youngest. It was my dad’s wishes to keep the course in the family. It was not an easy thing to do, but with so many of the members supporting and helping, my mom managed to make his wishes a reality. My mother and siblings did what they could to keep the course open and at the ripe old age of 12, I decided it was time to get busing improving the golf course. I watched and learned how my mom treated all the people and knew that if I could do half the job outside that she did inside, this place could survive. After her death in 1989, I vowed to make this place into the best it could be both inside and out. My mom always told me that golf is just what brings people; friendship is what brings them back.
